How It Started
Seeing a need for additional support during the 2022 season, a small group of moms — affectionately referred to as the 'Booster Moms' — banded together to provide additional support in planning, preparing, serving & cleaning for our team meals.
Knowing that our schools & coaches are struggling with a lack of resources, this group furthered their support by volunteering their time & skills across a variety of categories.
In 2023, we took things a step further by applying for an Alberta Gaming License as a school affiliate group which has allowed us to raise additional funds through 50/50 raffles. After working with school administration, the committee is now in the final stages of becoming a registered Society, opening access to additional fundraising opportunities.
Our Mission
Enhancing the Program
The goal of the committee is to enhance the football program by acting as a support to our school & coaching staff — giving coaches more time to invest in developing our athletes both on and off the field.
Team Meals
Planning, preparing, serving & cleaning for our team meals — fuelling our athletes on and off the field.
Fundraising
Licensed through Alberta Gaming to run 50/50 raffles, with registered Society status opening new opportunities.
Volunteer Support
Sharing in volunteer needs so our coaching staff can invest more time in developing our student-athletes.
Community Building
Creating a welcoming community for families and supporters to connect, share ideas, and champion our program.
